I keep working my rotation and on thursday I finished working on the slot for Lizzie Kate Blocks Flip-It. It has found place back into my WIP box. I was able to finish the April and May blocks. I quite enjoyed stitching on this project after the confetti stitching on my Nature’s Home. This one was nice and easy. Here is a picture of how far I got with stitching on it this round.

Next up in my rotation is The Rain Fell a Little House Needlework design. I will finish this probably today and I really love this design. I will have a picture for you later when it is all done with details on fabric and threads.
I’m not very eager to post pictures of myself on my blog but Runar had taken a picture of me while I was stitching the other night and I just have to post it here. I didn’t notice that he was taking a picture, I was just stitching. LOL ![]()

I met up with some old friends from college last night. When we were still in college we started a small group that met regularly and stitched or knitted together. We have met occasionally over the years since we graduated from college chatting and doing some crafts together but last year we met only once and that was already in January. We decided when we met last night that we must restart the group and meet regulary again. So, we are going to meet once a month for chatting and crafting. I wasn’t home until 2:30 am last night, time just flew and it was a very fun evening.
I am already looking forward to the next meeting in February.
I always wanted to show you some pictures of Johanna’s Brynja’s birthday cake. Runar was in charge of decorating the cake as always and Johanna Brynja wanted a Barbapapa Cake again. So, here is what he made this year.

And I have to show you a picture of the birthday girl. I had dressed her up in her dress that we had bought for Christmas. Shortly before the guests arrived she had been rummaging through her sisters wardrobe and found an old costume that she had. So, she had to change into the fairy dress that she found and she wore that at her birthday party. She had got a crown at day care specially made as she had birthday and she wore that the whole day too. She sure was a happy BIG birthday girl.

Well, this is enough for today. I’m going to spend some time stitching and finishing off my LHN piece. I’ll be back tonight with an update and a picture of my Happy Dance.
Until then, have a wonderful weekend.
The LK Flip Its look really nice and colorful. I am collecting those patterns, so perhaps I will do them next year. Your Nature’s Home Afghan is so beautiful. I look forward to seeing more of it.
I don’t like having my picture taken either (that’s why I decided to loose weight
I didn’t like what I saw this christmas …. )
