We spent lovely Christmas here in my house. We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve here in Iceland. The girls were getting really excited as it came closer to 6 o´clock but that is when we sat down to have Christmas Dinner together. We had invited my parents and two of my brother over to spend Christmas with us and we had lovely time together. Our dinner was 3 course meal. First we had a plate of salmon (smoked and 2 types w/herbs), salmon pate. Then there was the main course which was smoked pork with vegetables, caramel potatoes and gravey. And finally the dessert was rum pudding for the big people and ice-cream for the children. We all received some lovely presents and were a happy bunch when we went to our beds that night.
I received a book that was on my wish list, pyjamas, some DVD´s and some stitching stash as well which I love. I´m going to put pictures of my stitching stash.
I took part in 3 exchanges at Jayne´s Attic this Christmas and I really enjoyed choosing gifts for fellow stitchers on the board.
First I would like to show you the beautiful exchange I received from Ish – this is from a Stitched Gift exchange. I just love it and all the extras that Ish enclosed for me. Thank you Ish.
Then there was a gift exchange – we were given a certain amount of money we could buy for. I don´t know who this exchange is from, but thank you secret friend. I loved it.
The third exchange is also a secret exchange where we were to send a gift for certain amount of money. I love this gift as it has some patterns from my wishlist. Thank you secret friend for a lovely gift.
