I know it has been a while since I wrote last time. We´ve had another period of sickness in the house. Again it was Johanna Brynja who was sick and still is. Another ear infection as well as a cold. This time another dosage of penincillin and an inhaling medicine for the cough. And I had to pick Fridbjorg Lilja up from school on friday with a fever and a headache + a stomach bug. Hopefully this will all clear quickly.
The weather over here has been really awful lately. Lots and lots of snow blizzards and some rain in between. Not my idea of nice weather. I don´t mind the snow but I´d like it to fall and then just stay there. But I am in no control of the weather, I know. LOL 🙂
Stitchingwise I have lost my mojo. Work has been crazy and I have been feeling somewhat down and tired. When I´ve come home from work I´ve just wanted to lay on the sofa when the girls are in bed and often I have just dozed off in front of the TV. But last week things have started to go in the right direction. I have stitched a small RR ages ago which has already been sent off. Here is a picture of it.
I took part in a challenge at Jayne´s Attic – we will choose a project every month that people can stitch if they like. You are encourage to make your own choice of fabric and threads and when you have finished you can finish it the way you like. Today was the revealing day and it was so interesting to see how differently people had finished their project. I am not going to post a picture of my finishing just yet as I have sent mine off as an exchange and I am waiting for my partner to receive it. I´ll post a picture as soon as that happens. I also stitched a biscornu and a scissor fob that are meant for exchanges too so you´ll see pictures of that later. 🙂
I have got the material needed for the 2008 Papillon mystery stitch and I am participating in a couple of SAL projects as well. One is called Memories and is designed by Jayne Hall at Jayne´s Attic, I haven´t started yet but might start tomorrow. The other one is called Amanda by Carol Tinson and it will start in February. And I am currently working on some other things that had already been started. I think my mojo is slowly coming back which I quite enjoy as I find stitching so comforting and enjoyable.
I hope to be back soon with updates. Until then take care and have a wonderful weekend.
