I´ve been stitching a lot but spending little time writing about it so here you have a long entry with lots of pictures. 🙂
I took part in a scissor fob exchange in the icelandic stitching club Allt i kross. I stitched a scissor fob for Fanny. I chose a free pattern from Prairie Schooler. You can find it by clicking here. I used the colours the pattern calls for and some scrap fabric I had in my fabric bag. Here is a picture of the front and back.
I received a beautiful scissor fob in the exchange from Rósa Tom. I just love her stitching. Here you can see the front and the back of the fob she stitched for me. She even enclosed two skeins of floss for me. Thank you Rósa.
And I have received a word that my Crazy Exchange has been received. When I had finished the February Challenge piece from Jayne´s Attic I decided to send it to Wendy Jo in the USA. The design is called Valentine Hearts and comes from Dragonfly Stitches. I just loved the way it turned out and I am happy that Wendy Jo loved it too. Here is a picture of the front and back.
Right now I am working on another RR piece which will be the last round of the 12 person RR I took part in. This one is for Leanne in Australia and I only have the backstitching left to do so I should finish it tonight. Then I will make a start on the March challenge piece at Jayne´s Attic. I am quite looking forward to stitching that one as I have decided on colours and fabric. And I have an idea on how to finish it, we´ll just have to see how it goes.
