We had wonderful Easter this year. We had decided to spend it quietly, just relaxing and spending time together. Runar took the two older girls to the cinema twice. They really loved it. I stayed at home with Johanna Brynja and we had fun as well, she was napping and I was stitching. 🙂 We went for a sightseeing drive on Friday and drove around in the country-side. Visited Thingvellir and Geysir, the weather was really beautiful and we enjoyed it.
Now it is back to our routine tomorrow, Runar and I are both going back to work, the two bigger girls are going back to school and Johanna Brynja goes to the day care centre with me. I am going on a seminar on Friday so this week is short for me. I am quite looking forward to it as it will be really interesting.
I spent yesterday and today stitching and quite enjoyed it. I finished the RR I mentioned in my last post. This one is for Leanne in Australia and it will be flying over there on Wednesday. Here is a picture to show you.
And I did finish the stitching on the March Challenge piece at Jayne´s Attic. Now I just have to go to the shops on Wednesday to pick up some fabric and ribbons for the finishing and then I am all set to finish this piece on Thursday evening (when I have the evening all to myself). I am sorry but I can´t show you a picture of it yet as it is not allowed until March 29th to give everybody a fair chance to finish their piece. And I must say you won´t be able to see mine until it has travelled quite a distance as it will go to a new owner far away. I´ll send it away as a Crazy Exchange. LOL I know, I am quite a teaser. 🙂
Tonight I started stitching my routine again. I spent the evening stitching on Under the Friendship Tree – Mirabilia and have come closer to finishing my 10 hour slot on it. It was a great feeling to get started on the rotation again as I had missed it. I´ve lined up everything about my routine again. I am also going to start taking part in the UFO nights at Jayne´s Attic (Julie and Mr Stick – please keep me going this time) LOL I promise to behave.
So, my plan this time around is something like this. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I´ll work on my routine (you can see the rotation on the right), Tuesday I´ll work on a UFO and I went digging over the weekend and found some nice candidates. And Saturdays and Sundays will be used for RR´s (only 1 that I am part of now), exchanges, SAL´s and just anything I fancy. We´ll see how it goes this time around. I made a good start with things today so hopefully I´ll keep up. I quite enjoyed it the last time around.
Thanks to those who are still reading. I really appreciate your visit to my blog, I am happy to know you are out there and I´ll be popping over to visit you too and trying to make time to comment on your blogs too. Hope you all have a wonderful day!
