Sorry I haven’t been blogging lately. Don’t know why but I’ve been feeling pretty down in the dumps lately. Guess I am just getting tired with the thought of my summer holiday approaching. I can hardly wait for my holiday to start. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy my work but I long for some time off. Not having to get up early in the morning, staying a bit longer in my pyjamas, etc. There are only 2 weeks until my holiday starts, my last day of work is July 11th and then I won’t be back to work until August 28th, yay.
Rúnar and the girls spent a great time in the Westman Islands visiting family and friends. But boy was is good to have them back home. I really missed them even if it was great to spent some me time in the evenings. LOL We are going back to the Westman Islands in July for a week but this time we are all travelling together. 🙂
I have heard of some of my exchanges getting to their owners so I have got quite a few pictures to show you. I am a little bit worried about an exchange I sent out at the end of May which doesn’t seem to have reached it’s destination. It is the HOE freebie exchange. Hope to hear it has arrived this week or I’ll start making something to send as a substitute. Anyway, here we go.
First off I want to show you a return exchange for Marne. Marne had sent me a great Crazy Exchange and I just knew instantly what I wanted to make for her as a return exchange. So, I stitched this biscornu as she didn’t have a biscornu before.
Here is the front
This is the back
And this is the whole exchange.
I was getting quite worried about the exchange I sent to Debbi as it had been travelling for quite a while but finally I heard that Debbie had received it. This is the first pinkeep that I have ever made and I am quite happy with the result.
Here you can see the whole exchange
And I have been stitching on a couple of round robins lately. First there is the Jayne’s Attic New Year Round Robin. I really enjoy this one, great group of ladies and fun to stitch with them. This is the stitching I did for Helen in Wales.
And the second piece is for Jodi. This one is part of a 12 person RR that is making it’s rounds. It should have finished by now but there have been quite a few bumps on the way so it is going very slow. I just hope I will receive mine back some day. Anyway here is Jodie’s piece.
A big thanks to those of you still reading my blog. I am planning to make some changes with my stitching in the summer holiday, try to organize my stash and make a new routine and give it another try. We’ll see what happens with it. I also plan to be more active with my blog. We’ll see about that too. Anyway, I really appreciate having you over for a visit and wish you all a good day!
