I think the title says it all. I’ve been busy with other things so stitching has taken the back seat this week. I have managed to do some knitting though. No, I haven’t finished crocheting around the small hat that I made, I couldn’t find a crochet needle, I might have to go and buy one. So, the little hat is on hold. But I decided to continue knitting the sweater for Hjálmfríður Bríet. It has been sitting half finished in my knitting bag, don’t know why I stopped working on it but I won’t stop now until it is finished.
My rotation has been going great, I managed to finish the work on “The rain fell” by LHN. I stitched approximately 10 hours on it this round and am about half way finished with it. I am posting a picture of it a little bit further down. My next project in my rotation is a Quaker SAL that we were doing in the Icelandic stitching group Allt í Kross but I got behind. Most of the girls have finished theirs and I hope to have mine finished in two rounds of my rotation. I am really enjoying my rotation, it gives me a lot of variation to my stitching which seems to be what I need to keep me motivated. Today and tomorrow I am working on exchanges so I won’t be able to show you any pictures from my stitching but I have some interesting projects planned. 🙂
I have had good mail days last week. I received one birthday gift and an exchange. I will snap a photo of those later today and post on my blog this evening. I also noticed that I never took a photo of the threads that I received for my birthday from the girls at Jayne’s Attic. I’ll snap a photo of those too and post tonight.
Hope you have a lovely weekend. I hope all of you who celebrate Halloween had a wonderful night last Friday. Take care of yourselves and I’ll be back with a picture entry later tonight.
